At The Wishing Trunk Boutique, our biggest goal is to well serve our loyal customers. If you're not completely satisfied with your order, we will do everything we can to better serve you.
Please look over your order as soon as you receive it. If you think that you've received a defective item, contact our customer service team within 3 days of receiving the merchandise or it cannot be returned. If you were sent incorrect items or are missing items from your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible so we can correct that mistake!
Here is a simple run-down of the rules and procedures for returns:
- Items can be returned for store credit only, issued in the form of a gift card sent via email. We cannot issue refunds.
- Shoes must be returned in their original box and placed inside an additional, protective shipping box. Damage to the shoe box makes the shoes ineligible for returns. In this case, the shoes will be shipped back to you and you are subject to the return shipping costs.
- Gift Cards, cosmetics, intimates, bras, camisoles, slips, tights, socks and Final Sale/Clearance category items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged. Coupon code items of 40% off or more are also final sale.
- All returns must be received within 30 days* of the date that we ship out your order.
- Returned items must remain un-washed, un-worn, no make-up stains, no deodorant stains, no pet hair, smoke-free, and ALL tags must still be attached. Items returned to us with makeup, deodorant, pet hair, smoke smell, perfume or similar product stains will be shipped back to you and are subject to additional shipping cost.
- Damages must be reported within 3 days of receiving merchandise or can not be returned.
- Include your return form and original receipt. (please circle the item(s) you wish to return.)
- Shipping is non-refundable, unless there was a mistake on our end.
- Please allow our team 5-7 business days to process your return once it is received at our warehouse.
*Please allow 5-10 days for package transit. This will ensure that we receive your return within the 30 day window.
We have a limited number of each must have style featured on the site and, because of this, we can NOT guarantee an exchange. We will issue you a store credit in the form of a gift card sent via email as soon as possible! If the right size in the right style is available, you can use your new gift card to grab that fabulous look!
We know that shopping online can be tricky. We have all experienced shopping online and understand the potential frustration that comes with returning items that unfortunately did not work out. We want this to be a pain free experience for our fabulous customers.
All we need you to do is fill out the return form included with your order and slip it into the package with your original receipt and the item you are returning. Don’t forget that your original shipping cost is non-refundable.
Once we receive your return, please allow 5 to 7 business days for your gift card to be issued via email. The automated email will be sent to the email address used to place the order – we cannot change this!
Refused or Undeliverable Packages
Refused or undeliverable packages are subject to return shipping costs that vary by shipping method used in the original order.
- If you choose not to have your order re-delivered, we can refund you the cost of the items, but the original shipping cost and the undeliverable charge from the carrier will be deducted from the refund as well as a 20% restocking fee.
Can I send back items from different orders?
- Yes. To save on shipping, time, and packaging materials, you can return items from multiple orders as long as you include the corresponding order numbers for each item inside the package. We recommend printing out the return form for each order online and including each form inside the return package along with an email or phone number to be reached at in case of questions that arise.
Changing or Cancelling Your Order
All orders will be shipped via USPS. You will be emailed a tracking number upon shipment. Please note we are unable to make changes to your order or shipping address once an order has been received. Please verify your shipping address is correct at checkout before submitting your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly submitted address.
